Did you know if you spend enough time in Venice Beach you decide to become a politician or a musician.

This is true for our favorite Barbarian Brother David Paul Director of "Shattered Mirror."

I was training one day at Gold's gym when Daid Paul approached me and said he wanted to work with me.

The next day he picked me up in his Nissn Z and said we were going to make beautiful art. He did not know where or what except we were going to the dessert and needed a mirror and the universe would show us the rest. We drove and drove and drove somemore when we finally found this fireplace in the middle of the desert.

"Smoke this," he chimed, as he handed me a cigarette.

"I don't smoke David but in the name of ART why not," I obliged.

"Show me something you've never shown anyone before", he went.

I proceeded to get mad, sad and then really mad then I found a genuinely happy place.

We hopped back in the car to continue our journey. Randomly, yet not coincidentally, there was a grave. PERFECT, we stopped again. More raw emotions I was happy to let go of.

"Hurry, hurry, we must find a place of desolation before the sunsets," David said in a frenzy.

Back in the car, just as the sun was setting, and the forlorn wind was howling we were in the middle of nowhere now to get the final shots in
the desert.

"We are here," David whispered.

The sunset was so magnificent tears welled in my eyes. Don't tell anyone.

I now have a new appreciation for what real unfolding art and trust in the universe is.
